A year and a half ago I left my journalism career behind and after an 18-month training program I am a Public Affairs Specialist at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Honolulu District. I am an Army brat, born and raised, and it's been nice coming back to my Army roots.
I have lived in ten (soon to be eleven) states and two foreign countries and I'm always looking towards the next move.
I have a golden retriever mutt (Oliver) and two cats (Debo and L.B.). I'm a pretty darn good cook and love having company over. I'm a huge sports fan (go Sox! go Pats! go Gators!) but don't let it get in the way of living my life. Find me on Twitter @photokersh.
