Born in Frazerburgh, Scotland, and raised in Peterhead. Emigrated to Australia in 1958 with Mum, Dad and six siblings. Stayed in Graylands Migrant Hostel from 1958 to 1961, when we moved to Lapsley Road in Claremont. Married in 1965 and moved round the corner, where we still are.
Things I Zen out on: music, particularly classical and opera, reading, poetry, the sound of wind, the sound of surf, Scotland, a taste of wild brambles on a warm sunny Ayrshire road in the middle of the fields in late July, my 'puter, my cat purring, being with my ain folk.
