I am currently working as a full time Assistant Professor at Hokkaido University located at Sapporo, Japan. Previously I have obtained my Masters and Doctorate in Robotics Engineering, with specialization in Autonomous Mobile Robots and Artificial Intelligence. I was the recipient of the MEXT scholarship from the government of Japan that funded my Masters and Doctoral studies in full during my stay in Japan. My research interests are in the field of mobile robots, computer vision and artificial intelligence.
