I grew up in Juniper Green, Edinburgh. I went to Juniper Green Primary School and Balerno High School. Started a BA Drama at UEA Norwich when I left school but dropped out in the first term when I had the bright idea to do Philosophy instead. Did an MA Mental Philosophy from 1997-2001 at Edinburgh which was aptly named and pretty soon got my way back into theatre! Have been working in theatre education for about five years now working in youth theatre as a director, tutor and administrator all over Scotland but mostly in Perth.
