As a project manager I focus on the development of new research projects and grant applications. This includes national funding, international funding (EU/ Horizon 2020), and contract research with companies. I get energy from people with innovative ideas and help to realize them. I like bringing people together with the right expertise who can complement each other.
Practically this means I get in contact with all different parties within a project, find additional suited partners, watch timelines, organize budgets and legal advice, and edit documents and figures.
