I believe that there are many ways to be successful in life; however, most importantly I feel that there needs to be a strong drive to be independent and push yourself beyond your own expectations to get things done. Whether it is a personal or academic issue, I seek out the people who have the information I need. I love to be socially involved with friends and family, but I am still my own person. I have never felt the need to 鈥渇ollow the crowd鈥� as I have observed in other young adults my age. You have to learn about yourself through your own inner persona even though other people can be a strong support and positive influence.
