This document discusses inclusive design and user-centered design approaches for designing telecommunication terminals and other technologies for people with disabilities. It proposes a new "User Sensitive Inclusive Design" paradigm that involves users with disabilities throughout the design process, from setting the research agenda to evaluating results. This ensures their needs, abilities, skills, requirements and preferences are considered to create more accessible and universally usable designs for all. The goal is to provide engineers with effective ways to include people with disabilities as potential users of mainstream technologies.
