Too subjective question to answer but as far as friends are concerned for me they follow normal distribution, 68% of them belongs to mean+- s.d. i.e. they are there just because of technology- cellphones,facebook etc. 16% of them are those I really care about and feel fortunate and proud to have them in my life rest 16% belongs to the category I would like to kill if given a choice.
