  • #3: Change Management is a combination of two words. Change and Management. Let us talk about Change first
  • #5: Today we are talking about an important corner to effectively delivery business impact. Whenever we talk about change different people think / feel / behave/respond differently
  • #9: The emotion may follow different flow in different business situations and we may experience different challenge in different projects. However the moot point is to know when to handle with care and what is needed in terms of stakeholder management for that desired business impact. It is important to imagine what the other person is going through (the person subjected to change). Our job is to take care of negative team members / emotions
  • #10: There is no single best method to manage change. This is primarily because it is people thing and a combination of hard and soft stuff
  • #11: Top buy-in is a must and pre-requisite for any change initiative. Why if the top is bought into the change initiative, a lot of people fall in line because obvious reasons.
  • #13: Behavioural ones are key for effective change management. Other qualities required may be: Focus on impact v/s KRAs, email v/s get the thing done, Logical, Confidence, Ability to introspect and accept that there can be something wrong with us also
  • #17: Why this topic for discussion Effectively delivering business impact is highly unimaginable without people around accepting what we implement.
  • #18: In my opinion . To be effective change managers, first we need to be adaptable to changing environment / changing people priorities / emotions.
