I joined a tertiary education support project in 2013 that had received a low rating from the World Bank. Through improved monitoring and evaluation, coordination with stakeholders, and formal and informal communication, I was able to turn the project around and increase its rating for monitoring and evaluation to the highest level, which also improved the overall project rating. As a result, the World Bank extended the project and appreciated the improved performance. A graph shows that across areas like safeguards, procurement, funding, management, progress, and objectives, the project ratings increased from 2013 to 2015 according to World Bank review missions.

1. My Success Story in the Current Workplace
I joined Tertiary Education SuportProject(TESP) in November, 2013. Atthat
time, I was silghtly apprehensiveabout the rating the last World Bank Review
Mission had given to the Project. I took it as a challenge and, within a shortspan
of time, I was able to turn around the situation by improving the rating of
Monitoring & Evaluationn (M&E) to the highestlevel. Improved rating of M&E
also contributed to the overall rating of the Project. The Bank appreciated the
performanceand agreed to extend the Project. This was made possibleby
winning the trustof relevant stakeholders, at all levels, through improved
coordination and informal and formal communication.
The following graph explains the progress of the Project, in terms of the World
Bank Rating.
