Barbara D’Amato is a Senior Global Development Executive for the world’s top brands and CEO of Trilogy
Brands Group. Barbara specializes in consumer, retail, hospitality, entertainment and technology with an
emphasis on growth capital and brand expansion. She has served as investor, founder, board member,
advisor, and strategic partner constantly leveraging her unique talents and experience to dramatically
accelerate the growth of businesses across the US and globally.
She is a senior global retail and hospitality executive with a strong record of achievement and significant
experience in global partnerships, business strategy, brand management, global brand development, and
cross border transactions. She has proven experience with leading and innovative iconic, world class brands
securing a portfolio of dozens of clients from some of the world’s highest grossing and fastest growing
brands today.
Earlier in her career Barbara gained credit underwriting, risk analysis, team leading and management
experience as a Senior Relationship Manager and Vice President with Bank of America and BNP Paribas,
serving middle market and large corporate clients.
After a successful career in Wall Street, she founded Trilogy Capital, an investment banking firm partnered
with Fortress Investments Group, focused on growth capital, mergers and acquisitions and project
development, collaborating with investment banking, private equity, mezzanine, and asset management,
while providing clients global strategic direction, advisory, project development, and special opportunities
on an industry agnostic basis and a geographic focus on the US and cross border transactions.
She created a new platform within her practice, Trilogy Brands, focused on consumer markets globally by
creating a highway for the introduction of brands to the world. She has invested in and provided expertise
to dozens of leading US startups, emerging brands, star-performing, iconic and leading brands. She has also
successfully funded and advised on several social impact businesses around the world. She lived and
worked in the Europe, Middle East, Asia, Africa and Latin America.
Recognized as a leading subject matter expert across the globe in the areas of food and beverage, retail,
entertainment, and hospitality industries. Barbara regularly serves as a speaker, panelist and innovation
forum taskforce for the world leading industry organizations including the World Economic Forum, Global
Restaurant Leadership Conference, and the International Council of Shopping Centers. Her lessons from
these experiences, alongside interesting stories from those she has collaborated and advised, are now
published in articles in major publications around the world and presented live on TV, news media, and on
stage as speaker at leaders’ forums globally.
Barbara is a Global Contributor on Thrive Global, a new media publication platform by Arianna Huffington
from The Huffington Post, discussing matters of business well-being, leadership, inspiration and social
impact globally.
During this tenure Barbara has worked as Global Strategy Development and Advisor for the world’s top

Board of Directors Member and Chairwoman for non-profit organizations such as Seneca and Children’s
Museum.

Barbara holds a major in Business Administration with an emphasis in International Business, Magna Cum
Laude, and a minor in Finance, Real Estate and Law, from California State University at Pomona. She was the
Founder and Director of Finance for Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Society for the university. Holds an
M&A and financial modeling expert certification from the New York Institute of Finance. And a post
graduate degree in global business, strategy and leadership, with distinction, from Harvard Business School.
