I have always wanted to build a career as a diplomat and become an empowered leader able to influence positive changes. People often tell me that I have chosen a male-dominated field. I do not subscribe to this view, as I believe that being a female leader is not about competing in a man’s world. It is about breaking the barriers, defying stereotypes and tackling the gender gap, once and for all. It is time to embrace women’s leadership, rise for equality and raise our voices for change
