About
During my studies I lived in Cairo, Egypt, for a while, where I studied Arabic. After University I spend a couple of years working as a tour leader in Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, South East Asia and Latin America. I saw a lot of the world but I fell for Africa, when I first visited Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and Namibia. A fire for Africa was lighted in my heart and has never died since. I ended up in travel journalism and have so far written tourist guidebooks on ten different African countries besides two travel novels on the continent.
