Dr Beatriz Garcia is an international researcher in cultural policy, cities and mega-events, based at the University of Liverpool. She is member of the European Capital of Culture Selection and Monitoring Committee, editor of Culture @ the Olympics (www.culturalolympics.org.uk) and member of the Selection Committee for the International Olympic Committee Postgraduate Research Grant programme.
