Since its establishment in late 2008, the QS Intelligence Unit has rationalised and built on the portfolio of research conducted by QS. The QS World University Rankings quickly became and remain to this day the most referenced work of their kind but are simply a public reflection of a far more sophisticated range of services and projects the unit conducts.
The division is split into two parts, one which handles the public works and another which independently examines that data and others to build services to guide strategic management of universities and other higher education institutions.
