The goal of the UC Berkeley Upward Bound Program is to motivate and prepare the students it serves for success in education beyond high school. The Upward Bound Program serves 127 low-income students from local high schools on a year round basis, providing free services, including tutoring, academic support, college counseling, career advising, social/cultural activities, and detailed college admission assistance.
