After his Bachelor study Ruud started as an mechanical engineer by Van Boekhoven & Bosch, responsible for the mapping of machine changeovers reducing the non-productivity time, followed by his military service.
His professional career started as a junior component sales engineer by Van Vloten, a sales organization in powder handling equipment. One and a half year later he was asked by the Swiss Gericke starting as a component sales engineer and growing to project sales executive and key account management.
