Dr. Gogas, has over 10 years of both clinical and research experience in the field of Cardiology/Interventional Cardiology. He is currently holding a Faculty appointment in the Division of Cardiology of Emory University School of Medicine at the rank of Instructor of Medicine.
He received his PH.D. degree from the Erasmus University, Rotterdam in 2014 under the mentorship of Prof. Patrick W. J. C. Serruys, M.D., Ph.D. His doctoral thesis investigated the long-term vascular responses following percutaneous coronary interventions with metallic stents and bioresorbable scaffolds utilizing in vivo sound- and light-based imaging modalities.
