Taught 5th Grade and after 3 years was layed off due to budget cuts. Loved teaching and sharing my knowledge with my kids. Together we've raised Monarch Butterflies, tagged and released them and tracked their migration to Mexico. Also raised Brook Trout in the classroom the entire school year and released them at the end of the year into a Trout stream. Member of the Monarch Teacher Network and have been blessed with the opportunity to travel to Mexico 4 years in a row to visit the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuaries in the state of Michoacan, visit Mexican schools in rural villages near the Monarch Sanctuaries and share these wonderful experiences with teachers from across the U.S. and Canada
