About
Brazil has emerged as a globally significant economic power in the last decade, combining accelerated growth with falling poverty and inequality. This achievement is globally recognised – nowhere more so than among the emerging economies in Africa.
IRIBA is an innovative, DFID-funded research programme, based at the University of Manchester that brings together an international team of researchers, examining how lessons from Brazil's development experience can be learned and adapted for African countries.
