I have nearly 20 years in the Army and close to half of it in the Special Forces. In recent history Army Special Forces, Green Berets, have been called 鈥淲arrior Diplomats, Bearded Bastards, or Knuckle-Draggers鈥� to characterize the men and their culture dedicated to accomplishing the mission and helping people. Their motto, de oppresso liber, translates to free the oppressed.
I am definitely part knuckle-dragger. I push harder than anyone else and never quit. I look for the hardest task and take it on. I run towards the fire, lead projectiles
