The alumni association (SAAR) was established as early as December, 2009. During its earlier period of formation, it continued in a somewhat informal manner but now its a systematized body. Earlier the mechanism for handling alumni affairs was not institutionalized and was running on ad-hoc basis but through the efforts of some enthusiast Training & Placement Officers and alumni, it became a success.
