CLIC stands for Cardiff: Libraries in Co-operation. It was established in September 2004 with the original intention of providing joint staff development opportunities for people working in libraries, and has developed since then to be as inclusive as possible, involving libraries from all sectors in Cardiff such as higher education (HE), further education (FE), public libraries, government libraries, museums, corporate and health libraries.
