I was the type of child that never stopped asking questions, took gadgets apart, and would spend hours with the microscope instead of the television or video games. That curiosity led me to conduct interesting research on nanotechnology for alternative energy applications at the University of Central Florida and at Yale University. My goal of preserving planetary resources encouraged me to engage new generations on this mission (see link below under "EcoPhysics") and, during graduate school, to understand and apply the economic drivers behind sustainable development.
