About
I currently work for a local authority within Children and Families as a Social Worker within their Family and Friends fostering service, and as a practice teacher for the University of Plymouth. I also answer social workers’ questions on the College of Social Work helpdesk where they are in my area of expertise. I look back on a wide variety of life and work experience. I qualified in 2008 with an MA from the University of Plymouth. My social work background is in Child Protection. I also have experience of social work in an adolescent mental health inpatient unit, and as a Family Group Conference Co-ordinator.
Before I came to the UK I completed a philosophy degree in Germany....
