A standout individual at a young age, Carroll Harrison Braddy began singing with the gospel group Five Young Men while still in Junior High, which ultimately resulted in being honored with a Stellar Gospel Music Award nomination. At the age of 18, Carroll Harrison Braddy wrote his first book, and he founded his Braddy Preparatory Academy at the age of 20, which remains in operation today. The school, which specializes in assisting developmentally and mentally disabled children, helps its students to excel academically while receiving mental health treatment.
Under Dr. Braddy鈥檚 direction, the school has gained full accreditation from the state of Georgia, grown to a staff of 150.
