I hold three degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill - a BA in Communications: Film & Media Production, an MA in Education, and a PhD in Education. I taught in NC public schools for 5 years, and at UNC-CH for a total of 4 years. My graduate program at UNC-CH's School of Education was Culture, Curriculum, and Change, and my primary scholarly claims are in curriculum and instruction, teacher education, and media literacy.
