Monica Mara is recommended as the ideal candidate for an English teaching position. She has a Bachelor's degree from Harvard and over 10 years of experience teaching English in the US and China to students aged 10-24. While she lacks experience with 5-10 year olds specifically, the recruiter believes her skills and passion for teaching would make her qualified for the role.

Memo - Monica Mara
1. Dear Jason,
Since I put the recruiting information on website, I have received many resumes and
done several interviews with some candidates. Based on their performance, I suggest that
Monica Mara would be an ideal candidate for the position we offer.
She is an American and has a sound educational background. After graduating from
Harvard University with a Bachelor degree in English, Monica Mara started her career as
an English teacher. From the year 2005 to 2009, she worked for Berkshire School in USA
teaching 19th Century English Literature. In addition to teaching various literacy skills,
Monica designed and implemented curriculum for students between the ages of 16 to 24.
Starting from 2009 until now, Monica has been working for English First (China). She has
experience in instructing children between the ages of 10-15, preparing weekly course
outline, and giving assignments to students. Finally Monica Mara has created special
courses which incorporate dancing, music and acting; this has successfully improved
students’ speaking, listening and reading skills. This is a special skill that makes Monica
Mara the best candidate to hire.
Considering her skills, abilities and work experience, Monica Mara shows great
passion for being an English teacher which impressed me a lot. Even though Monica
doesn’t possess experience working with children from the ages of 5-10 that we are
looking for, I still believe that (not assume) she would be qualified for the position.
Yours truly,
XXX
