In September 2016, my research lab has developed and verified a new algorithm and architecture design of H.265/HEVC Intra Encoder. Through using highly parallel architectures, the video coding process is accelerated significantly. The whole Intra encoder is demonstrated via Altera Stratix V GX FPGA board.
