Summary
I was born in the Philippines on November 1, 1955, attended the Philippine Women鈥檚 University and graduated in October 1982 with a Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Economics. I migrated to Rome in November 1986 to work as a domestic helper but instead I found work with Isis International, an organization founded to foster communication and networking among women at the international level. Through my work there I became interested and later deeply involved in issues related to Filipina migrant workers in Italy.
