I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, but have lived in CA, NM, NY, WI and Saudi Arabia. I've traveled in 15 countries.
After teaching fifteen years, I began a second career writing for tots, teens and inbetweens. My board book COUNTING LITTLE GECKOS (The RGU Group, 2005>Bobolink Media, 2009) has sold over 44,000 copies. I enjoy promoting it via school, library and conference presentations, my website, book fairs and bookstore signings.
