Jitao Sang is Assistant Professor at National Lab of Pattern Recognition, Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAISA). His research interests include social media analysis, multimedia retrieval and data mining. The very recent works mainly focus on collective recommendation and search in social media, by combining social network analysis, computer vision and machine learning techniques to achieve complete user modeling as well as total media content understanding. So far, he has authored one Springer book, filed three patents, co-authored more than 40 journal and conference papers.
