What's there to say? Had a mid-life crisis a bit young (38) and jacked in a very well paid job with perks as an accountant but instead of backpacking or dropping out I went back to studying. Lecturered in Tourism & Leisure (or "Mummy teaches holidays and fun" as my children put it!) but made redundant in 2011. Now lecturing in Business and Management in exotic overseas locations as part of the Flying Faculty. Part way through (part-time) PhD in Geotourism (well it does mean I get to travel to some great places like Yellowstone, Grand Canyon etc!)
