Prior to my career change into Education, I worked within the manufacturing sector from 1999 to 2007.
Starting employment as a PA in 1999 for Portal Products and following their Sales Manager to Homesafe Doors in 2003 to become the Sales Office Supervisor.
During this time I have learnt many transferable skills (professional and life experience) that I can utilise in my new career as a Primary School Teacher, along with the knowledge gained from working within Education and my degree.
I believe all children are enthusiastic learners and are capable achievers. They deserve the best teaching methods to allow them to thrive and enjoy acquiring new knowledge. Learning can be fun!
