Christine Ortiz is the Morris Cohen Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Ortiz is currently on leave from MIT to found a new nonprofit residential research university and is leading the founding team, staff, collaborators and consultants in a systemic redesign of all aspects of the research university.
