Originally from Michigan, my wife, Heather, and I moved to Broward County (Fort Lauderdale, Florida) area shortly after she graduated with her teaching degree from Ferris State University.
I also graduated from Ferris State with my bachelor's of science in business degree, majoring in public relations, in 2003. My wife teaches fourth grade at Park Lakes Elementary, the largest elementary school in the county.
Heather and I were married on Dec. 12, 2003 on Woman Key, a private island eight miles off the coast of Key West, Florida.
