I am married to a wonderful man and have three terrific kids. I am a breast cancer survivor (diagnosed in 2002 and completed treatments a year later in 2003). I began advocating for people with disabilities after becoming the legal guardian of my brother Craig, who sustained a severe traumatic brain injury in 1996 from an automobile accident that also took the life of my father.
