My maiden name was Cindy Noblin. I was born and raised in Parkersburg, WV, my family moved to Florence, South Carolina when I was a teenager. I graduated from West Florence High School in 1987. I attended college at the University of South Carolina and later Indiana University. I worked at Kinko's in various managerial roles for nearly a decade before returning to school. I met my husband Dave just as I was returning to school and we married in 2000. I graduated with a degree in English in 2000 and went on to earn a Master of Library and Information Science in 2002, both from the University of South Carolina.
