About
Cindy Zimmerman artist, facilitator, instigator, educator. CZ got her start as a child artist at the Uptown Kiwanis Center in Oklahoma City, now a Boys&Girls Club. The oldest of eight sisters, she blossomed when she moved away to Norman, Oklahoma, and became the photographer waitress of the Town Tavern. A quarter century in San Diego saw her complete an MFA and create many artistic projects, including Cool Water, the Fern Street Circus, and the Great Balboa Park Landfill Exposition. She resided for the last six years in Salina, Kansas, where I-70 meets I-135, and returned to San Diego in 2010.
