I have been working in the field of education and instructional technology since 2003. I hold a doctorate in Cognitive and Training Sciences and a Masters in Continuing Education and E-Learning (both from Ca Foscari University of Venice, Italy). In my doctoral dissertation I analyzed the connection between social capital and quality of learning as a bridge between formal and informal learning environments fostered by Web 2.0 applications and technologies.
