COMUNIS 鈥� Inter-municipal Cooperation for Strategic Steering of SME-oriented Location Development in the Alpine Space.
In the Alps 鈥� as well as in the lowland 鈥� the strategy of commercial/industrial development on the municipal level is marked by reacting to single cases at short term. A coordinated and concerted strategy, respecting a sustainable use of resources and taking into account the regional and local potentials, is usually missing. Synergies gained from cooperation are not sufficiently recognized.
COMUNIS aims at developing guidelines for the promotion and development of inter-municipal cooperation in the field of commercial/industrial land planning.
