My goal of education is to provide a framework of knowledge for students against which new truths can be actualized. I believe that students must be led from practical issues to theoretical ones, while exposing concrete information and elevating a student's thought process to the abstract. I want to hear what young minds are thinking and feeling, then use what is intrinsically motivating to bring out the best in them. More specifically, my goal and responsibility is to expose students to a plethora of history’s finest writers, giving them a foundation for literature along with an appreciation for it by establishing connections between the literature and lives of my students.
