I'm currently finalizing my PhD in Aeroacoustics at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics in partnership with University of Rome "La Sapienza"鈥�. My studies are part of the project AeroTraNet2, a Marie Curie Action of the European Commission's 7th Framework Programme (FP7). My work consists in designing and realizing a facility to study Shock-Cell Noise on a subsonic/supersonic coaxial jet, and then to investigate the flow with acoustic and PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry) measurements.
