A native of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, born on July 18, 1958. Quarterbacked high school team to the state finals. Four year letterman in college football and team captain. Trains for and runs marathons in free time to relax.
Graduated pharmacy school in 1984 from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and was licensed as a pharmacist. Began legal career in 1987 with one of the largest and oldest law firms in Arkansas after receiving a Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law. Joined the firm鈥檚 Litigation Section as an associate where medical background made a natural fit for a practice that emphasized the defense of insurers, doctors
