I graduated from Staffordshire University in 1990, with a BSc First Class Honors Degree in Computing Science.
I began my career at Akebia Systems, a UK-based company that developed software for high-end medical and flight simulator systems.
In 1993, I was asked by Hewlett-Packard to join their Dealer Information Services initiative as technical lead for the client software. DIS was a leading-edge world-wide project to provide HP dealers with Order Status, Product, Pricing, Sales + Marketing and Support Information using Internet technologies.
