I have been in the IT field for almost two decades, and founded Rent-A-Nerd, Inc. in 1997. At the time, I was selling computers, and I realized there was a true need for good computer support and service. So, I borrowed $300 from my mom and hung flyers around the neighborhood. Sure enough, I was right, and the phone didn't stop ringing! Rent-A-Nerd, Inc. started in a one bedroom apartment, was moved and promptly outgrew a larger two bedroom house and within a year, I moved the company to its first official office on Metairie Road.
