At the young age of 7 I became fascinated with computers and how things work. The idea of how mechanics and engineering integrated into our daily lives, and how they assisted society really intrigued me. I manufactured my first plastic beer mug at the age of 8 and at the age of 16 I could fully operate injection moulding and pad printing machinery. I designed and developed an autonomous search and rescue sea boat at the age of 21 and at age 22 I lead the research team that developed South Africa's first portable exoskeleton arm. I have a passion for engineering and for developing solutions that assist the world we live in.
