For the past 15 years I have been a critical care nurse. I have worked as a critical care nurse at three large teaching hospitals (University of Alberta Hospital, University Hospital of Northern British Columbia & Queen Elizabeth Health Sciences Centre). In addition, I have special interest in critical care transport. I was a Flight Nurse with Yukon Emergency Medical Services and currently I am a Flight Nurse with Emergency Health Services Nova Scotia critical care transport program, Life Flight. Recently, I have had the privilege to being a part-time clinical instructor for Dalhousie University School of Nursing.
