He obtained Master Degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Padua with a dissertation on semantic memory titled "Evoked Potentials and Concepts Representation".
In 2009, he obtained Doctor Europaeus title and Ph.D. in Psychological Sciences, Cognitive Sciences branch, at the Department of Developmental and Socialization Psychology of the University of Padua with a thesis titled "Risk and Rationality: Decision Making in the Brain". In 2007 I studied neural basis of economic decision-making, using Event- Related Potentials and Functional Magnetic Resonance, at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience of the University of Bochum, Germany.
