In my experience a “WOVC”
consists of 3 parts:
1. THE EYEWASH When you walk into the finished work space
for the first time, your jaw should drop at how visually appealing it is.

2. THE STORY You should be able to stand in the center of the
work space and see how the work is processed throughout the shop
3. THE STANDARDIZATION getting a work group to come
together and agree this is how we are going to process our work. In
many cases, this is the first step at standardizing work practices
